Attorney Eberhardt was admitted to the Bar for the state of Wisconsin in 1982. He is also admitted to practice in the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern District and Western District of Wisconsin.
Eric received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1979, majoring in political science. He received his law degree from the Marquette University Law School in 1982.
Attorney Eberhardt is member of the State Bar of Wisconsin and the Ozaukee County Bar Association.
Attorney Eberhardt is engaged in the general practice of law, focusing his practice in the areas of municipal law and general litigation, including real estate transactions and contract disputes. His experience includes municipal, state and federal administrative hearings, state trials and appellate litigation in various jurisdictions. Attorney Eberhardt has acted as City Attorney for the City of Port Washington since 1999 . Attorney Eberhardt is also the Town Attorney for Town of Holland.
Eric previously served as a board member and/or president of Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Ozaukee County, the Port Washington Chamber of Commerce, the Port Washington Police & Fire Commission, Port Washington Rotary Club, the Ozaukee County Bar Association, and his church council. For many years he participated as a volunteer attorney-coach or judge in the State Bar of Wisconsin’s Mock Trial program for high school students. He was born in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. Eric has lived most of his life in southeastern Wisconsin, and currently resides in Port Washington. He is married and has two adult children. When not being a lawyer, Eric enjoys playing golf.
